Recently Hannah Park shared with me some of her thoughts on the Lord’s Prayer – here with her permission is a copy of what she shared.

The Lord’s Prayer has changed my life much too, becoming an intercessory prayer.
Our Father in heaven, for me, our father means not only my father but ours which led me to extend my prayer boundary and gave me a world Christian view.
Father means I am a princess of the heavenly Father and it makes me worthy.
Heaven means the highest place; the darkness is not able to reach there.
Hallowed be your name, it makes me break down the false idols that take way God’s glory, with my prayer as Gideon did.
Your kingdom come; if Jesus reigns in us and our families we will be full of righteousness, joy and peace.
Your will be done on earth as in heaven means Jesus said on the cross ‘it is finished’ therefore may Jesus’ death be of worth to everyone.
Give us our daily bread means I am expecting God to provide in every area. I feel I am not poor any more.
Keep us from the time of trial (Lead us not into temptation) means I don’t want my life to be dry, being cut off from the relationship of God by temptations of the evil.
Deliver us from evil; I am expecting God’s protection in my earthly life until I will be at Father’s house.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us means I should be understanding of others and be sensitive about sins.
The kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever means there are many gods in the world but I pray to my God who the kingdom, the power and the glory are His now and forever.
This short prayer has held me to be steadfast in Christ, clarifying my life goal. Also, my prayer life has changed my head knowledge of the Bible into my heart knowledge. For example, one day I told Jesus ‘Lord, I have had shameful life in many areas before God and others so I am ashamed’. Then Jesus answered me ‘my daughter! you are my treasure’. Then my heart burst with tears and I believed it is true, according to the verse I am a clay jar and Jesus is the treasure in me therefore I am treasure in God’s sight. It edified me to look forward rather than be a captive by what others are saying or what I think about myself. What a privilege to be a Christian! When I share my heart knowledge of the word to others it touches us more deeply over my language limitation.
The desire to reach out the gospel to many pushed me as well as my husband to come out of the comfort zone of our life in Korea.
