About
Small Groups
Our belief is that the Small Groups provide a means for us to explore Christian faith and to develop as Christians in a supportive and caring environment. It is also our desire that we will enable others to meet with Jesus and have the opportunity to grow in their knowledge of Him.A Short History
Kaikorai Presbyterian Church has stood at the crossroads for 140 years, but as early as 1852 pioneer families trudged along bush tracks and muddy roads, (for those days the bush extended from Flagstaff to the shore) for weekly prayer meetings, first in Hood Hall (now Ferntree House), and then at Wakari School.People

Why mission? The answer is a simple response to the declaration of Jesus that empowered by the Holy Spirit we are to be his witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8). In this task we remember the command of God to be a blessing to others, in particular the poor and disadvantaged. At the same time the command of Jesus to 'go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you' (Matthew 28:19-20), reminds us the greatest blessing anyone can receive is eternal life in Jesus. The primary task of Global Mission Kaikorai is to raise awareness, teach, and enable every member of the congregation to be actively involved in mission beyond New Zealand.Local Mission
