Home Groups

Our belief is that the Home Groups provide a means for us to explore Christian faith and to develop as Christians in a supportive and caring environment. It is also our desire that we will enable others to meet with Jesus and have the opportunity to grow in their knowledge of Him.

You are invited to worship at Kaikorai.

Services are held every Sunday at 10am. You will find the atmosphere welcoming and friendly, the teaching relevant, and the encouragement 'to know God and to enjoy God forever.' Morning tea is served following the service; please do try to allow the extra time to meet others and be known.  All are very welcome.

Global Mission

Why mission? The answer is a simple response to the declaration of Jesus that empowered by the Holy Spirit we are to be his witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8). In this task we remember the command of God to be a blessing to others, in particular the poor and disadvantaged. At the same time the command of Jesus to 'go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you' (Matthew 28:19-20), reminds us the greatest blessing anyone can receive is eternal life in Jesus. The primary task of Global Mission Kaikorai is to raise awareness, teach, and enable every member of the congregation to be actively involved in mission beyond New Zealand.

  1. I would love to come and visit your church when I come on my next holiday for two months in December this year. Maybe even attend one of your home groups so that I can start making some of my own friends as I may be coming to live in Dunedin to be close to my son and his family. I am from South Africa and have applied for a parent resident visa. I am in a pool waiting to be invited to apply for residency. I look forward to meeting your community in December/ January. I am very involved in my church here at home.

  2. Hi Margaret
